i think the impact we have had on the environment will really become recognized after this.  I hope we take the lesson and make some real changes.

I dream that will happen - in all likelihood it will not though.

I’d love to think this will change people’s consumption habits, get them to spend less, travel less, and pollute less but I am not very optimistic...

If all the war time talk is any indication, we’re just gonna ramp up our efforts in the war against mother nature. Start dumping antivirals into forests and jungles. Better yet, cut all those pesky trees down so we can clean everything. We can all survive just fine in our houses with Netflix and WFH apps. Less biodiversity means less viruses, amirite?

We are a deeply ecologically ignorant civilization.

That is such a brilliant film. But you know, the thing about that film is, the B-52 crews  are treated almost reverently. There is nothing about that film that downgrades or looks a scans at any of the fighting men. Just the leaders.
